We count it a privilege to play a small role in some of the special moments in your life. One of our favourite parts of conceptualising a wedding or event is getting to know you and creating florals that are an expression of who you are. We love to bring an vision to life whether it be classic, modern or romantic, but we are at our best when we’re taking on something a little bit different.

When it comes to celebrations we truly enjoy the small details - the meaning behind a particular choice of flower, the way colours and textures come together to create a certain look, even the fine wiring on a bridal crown or buttonhole - we love the little things that make an event personal and aim to execute everything we do with the highest care.

Bouwer is passionate about using seasonal florals where possible and our preference is towards sourcing from suppliers in the Cape. While this isn't always feasible for an entire event, making use of locally-grown flowers supports our farmers and is also kinder to the environment. The Cape has such a rich variety of indigenous flora and we love taking inspiration from the natural landscape where we can.
